Movement Torino is the European edition of the Movement Detroit Electronic Music Festival (DEMF), which is a hugely popular dance music festival that celebrates techno music in the city where it was born. In its sixth year in Torino, the event will include five days of pre-parties, acrss multiple venues leading up to the final show in the PalaOlimpico. This festival pays large tribute to the legends of techno and has 20+ artists scheduled to play over the five days at Movement Torino. Underworld, Carl Craig, and Green Velvet will be a few of the big names playing on the final night.With the large success of DEMF and the continual growth of its Torino counterpart, the Movement Festival will rock Torino. With Halloween starting to make its upsurge in Italy, there will be no better place to get freaky to some of the best techno in the world.

Tickets: The final show at the PalaOlimpico will be €30 while all the pre-parties at the surrounding clubs and venues are usually €10 presale and up to €25 at the door. You can buy a ticket to the final show online but for the various other clubs and shows they suggest finding the nearest retail store. To find tickets click here.

Flying into Torino:

The closest airport is the Turin Caselle Airport which is about 35 minutes north of the PalaOlimpico

Public transportation from airport to venue: The suggested route using public transit is using the 3165 bus by GTT servizio extraurbano to Tram 10 by Gruppo Torinese Trasporti, estimated to take about 1 hour 45 minutes.
